What I put on my face

Forgive me that I'm not so in the mood to continue my Bali post at the moment and furthermore my 14" laptop is currently in computer shop for reformatting. Been living in peace with Trojans over a year and now all my external harddisks, pendrives and memory cards been infected as well.

Was tidying up my room for the coming CNY earlier today and thought I might as well compose a post on the makeup products that I've been using.

Base/ Foundation
I've been using Gowoonsesang BB Cream for like 2 years plus now and regardless how much bad reviews people had, I'm loving it to bits! :) It seriously made my skin (almost) flawless and my pimples has been reduced as well. Not sure if it's the BB cream or the skincare I used.

Well, I stopped using foundation eversince I started with BB Cream.

Compact Powder/ 2-Way Cake
Shu Uemura Glow Enhancing Powder Foundation #764. Been using it since forever. The above is the new refill that I bought. My sister was a makeup artist years back and she was always commenting that ALL makeup artist adore Shu Uemura. So I had been a fan since then.

Makeup Kit
Victoria Secret's The Sultry Look for convenience sake. Nothing much to rave about. It consists of eyeshadows, blusher, highlighter, lipstick and lipgloss.

Eyeshadows
Clockwise from left: 1) Elianto Baked Eyeshadow in white which I've been using as base.
2) Laneige Art Play Eye Palette #02 which I got as wedding gift.
3) MAC Burmese Beauty Eyeshadow that I bought for my wedding display.
4) Bed Head 4-Play Eyeshadow that my mum gave yearssssss back.
5) Cyber Colour Creamy Touch Eyeshadow #02 that I redeemed in Sasa.
6) Etude House Eye Pendant #PK001 that I use when I wanted light bare make-up.

Blusher
I LOVE MAYBELLINE'S MINERAL BLUSHER!! It's so pigmented and stays the whole day and I look radiant it it!

Also Shu Uemura Glow On Blush #33E. Cos' I'm a fan, remember?

Eyeliner
Top to bottom:
1) PA Pencil Eye Liner in Black which I got in Japan cos I forgot to bring any pencil liner.
2) Empro 1 Day Liner with dual-head function - pencil and liquid liner.
3) Empro Black Diamond Liner for more dramatic effect.
And Etude House Eye Glow Pencil for inner corner of my eyes.

Eyebrow Pencil
Empro Triangular Brow Pencil is the best and also the first and also the only brow pencil I've used so far ;)

Mascara
I would prefer Kiss Me's Volume & Curl Mascara (right) more as compared to Majolica Majorca's Lash Gorgeous Wing Neo BK999 (left). I have much longer lashes with Kiss Me and the curl stays the entire day!

Eyelash Curler
Koji Eyelash Curler that I got from Sasa in HK few years back cos' I read many awesome review about it online. And yes, I'm loving it to bits! Not sure if Sasa in Msia selling this now but it's not available locally when I got it.

Lipgloss/ Lipbalm
Left to right:1) Clarins Colour Quence LipBalm #11 that I got as freebies during my previous job.
2) Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited OR528S that I got free when I purchase some other stuff from Shu Uemura.
3) Shu Uemura Gloss Unlimited PK382S that my sister gave it to me.
4) Shu Uemura Vinyl Unlimited OR521 that I bought for my wedding display.
5) Cyber Colour Shea Butter Lipbalm in Blueberry flavour. (Love it!)

You see, I don't usually fork out money for lips stuff. In fact, I took years to finish up the above products. I know the lifespan is like 6-12 months? But who cares..

I recently read about MaXFactor in magazines. Apparently this brand made a comeback after being invisible in the market for a long time. The best thing is, the counter is available in Kuantan's Parkson!!
False Lash Effect, the name says it all. It does really give false lash effect but unfortunately it's not that waterproof. My lowerlid turned dark by the end of the day.
Remember I said I no longer use foundation? I got this Miracle Touch Liquid Illusion Foundation in Warm Almond #45 and the above mascara comes FREE!! :) Initially I wanted to get the mascara only and it costs like RM60+ but they currently running a promotion. Buy foundation free mascara, such a deal innit? And the foundation costs me RM 72 only.
Lipfinity #012 and topcoat. Basically when the color lipbalm dries up seconds after applying, top it up with the topcoat/ clear lipbalm (right) and VIOLA! The effect is just like applying lipgloss and it's super mosturising. Best part is that the colour really last even after meal ;)

Is there any other awesome products that you'd like to share with me?

Gowoonsesang BB Cream - i wish this product didn't break me out. it would've been perfect. i used to have clear skin, and i just wanted some coverage. so for the first few weeks, this product make my skin look so clear, and i got so many good comments on it. but later i realized that i was getting a few pimples. more than what i usually get. but this product really matched my skin (i'm a nc20-25) and it might not work on darker skin tones because its pretty light. the tube sometimes squeezes out on its own onto the cap, and its kind of expensive ($50) and hard to find, but it's pretty good.
